All of our Japanese lessons are run by friendly, professional native Japanese teachers.
Private Lessons and Tutoring
We offer private lessons and tutoring using our standard curriculum or your preferred textbook and materials. Our teachers are experience teaching use a range of different textbooks and we are happy to tailor lessons to your particular requirements.
Private lessons are available in-person at our School in Dickson and online.
We are experienced in teaching high school and university students and assisting students with special Japanese language needs.
Private lessons cost $74 per hour for lessons held at our school and students pay calendar monthly in advance.
Small Group Lessons
Our Small Group Classes run similarly to our private lesson classes.
We have both Small Group Classes that use our standard class curriculum and other specialised classes including travel and JLPT focused classes. Our Small Group Classes have a maximum of 3 students of similar abilities.
These classes are held once a week at a convenient day and time and charged at $60 per hour with student payment made calendar monthly in advance.
Standard Group lessons
We run Standard Group lessons for beginners to advanced students on weekday evenings and all day Saturdays using our carefully developed Japanese curriculum. Each term is 10 weeks and consists of one 90 minute lesson per week (15 hours per term). The fee is $675 per term.
We always have lots of other group lessons currently running so so please get in touch with us for the latest information on other lesson days and times. We will also be opening new Dickson School and Online group classes for 2024 and put up the start dates very soon on our website but feel free to contact us today!

Kids Lessons
We offer fun and interactive lessons for kids that will develop foundation skills and a life-long love of Japanese.
Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Lessons
The JLPT is the official Japanese test of language ability. This test is developed and recognised by the Japanese government and is taken in 53 countries by over 700,000 people per year. Join our JLPT preparation course to improve your score! We can support students aiming for the July 2024 test.

Specialist Culture Lessons
We run specialist courses in various aspects of Japanese culture including Japanese cooking, calligraphy and travel. Check out our News section for our upcoming culture lessons. Each course consists of four weekly one-hour lessons (4 hours total) and explores in depth an aspect of Japanese culture.

Culture lessons
Once a month, we organise Japanese culture classes or events. We introduce our students to an aspect of Japanese culture such as calligraphy, J-Pop music, karate, cherry blossom viewing, cooking and much more. The classes are generally free or with a small cost to cover materials.
