Last week we have seen the basic meaning of “のようだ” and the method of its usage. However, it is rare quite difficult for Japanese learners at the beginner level to come up with this phrase when necessary. Today, I will give you some hint to get your journey of using “のようだ” started.
Scenario 1: Talking about if the scarf suits somebody or not. If you want to say “It doesn’t suit you.”, please remember the following fixed structures and try to think that way from now on.
(It’s a little quiet.)
(It’s too showy.)
(The color is too dark.)
Scenario 2: Discussing how is taste of the dish.
(It’s a little spicy.)
(The taste is a little weak.)
(Better to add more water.)
(Better to add more salt.)
Enjoy the holiday! See you next time!
